About the product

Castor oil is pressed from the seeds of the castor bean plant (Ricinus communis), a shrub grown in Africa, China and India. It is one of the oldest cosmetics in the world, valued since ancient Egypt.

Najel sources it from organic farms in northern India, where the oil is hand-pressed by small producers under fair trade principles. Cold pressing preserves its natural composition - the bottle contains only oil, with no preservatives or fragrance.

Intended use

How to use

• Hair - apply along the lengths as a pre-wash mask, leave for an hour, then rinse with shampoo
• Hands - rub a small amount into dry skin, ideally in the evening
• Nails - apply with the applicator and massage into the nail plate and cuticles
• Lashes - apply with a cotton pad in the evening, after removing makeup
