About the product

Sadvit is a family-run juicery from Magierowa Wola near Warka that makes its juices from fruit and vegetables only, without water, sugar or flavour enhancers.

Black currant makes a thick, deeply coloured juice, its taste sitting between tart and sour. It is one of those juices you sip in small amounts on its own, while a splash of water turns it into an everyday drink.

The juice is cold-pressed, made by the NFC method, then only pasteurised - never concentrated or reconstituted. About 1.7 kg of fruit goes into every litre, so the 1.5 L pack holds more than 2 kg of currants.

The only ingredient is black currant. No water, no added sugar, no flavourings - hence the name.

The tap pouch inside the carton holds 1.5 litres, six servings of 250 ml. The tap keeps air out, so an opened pouch stays fresh for 21 days instead of two.

How to use

1. Pour straight from the tap without opening the pouch.
2. Shake the pack before pouring - cloudiness and sediment are natural.
3. Drink chilled, on its own or diluted with water.
4. Add to tea, a fruit smoothie or a savoury lemonade.

Storage

Store in a dry, shaded place at 2 to 20°C. Once opened, the juice stays fresh for 21 days, as long as the tap stays submerged in juice and no air gets into the pouch. If air does get in, use the juice within 24 hours.
