Sadvit Strong Ginger 100% is a cold-pressed ginger root juice with a splash of lemon juice, made without added sugar. It's sharp, hot and finishes tart, so it's meant to be sipped in small amounts or stirred into tea and marinades.

About the product

Sadvit is a family-run juice press from Magierowa Wola near Warka, making juices only from fruit and vegetables - no water, sugar or flavour enhancers.

This pack holds 95% ginger root juice and 5% lemon juice. The lemon isn't a sweetener or filler here - it balances the heat and gives the tart finish. Everything is cold-pressed using the NFC method, then pasteurised.

The taste is sharp, hot and noticeably bitter. This isn't a juice you drink by the glass - a few spoonfuls are enough to boost a cup of tea or a marinade. About 1.7 kg of raw ginger goes into a litre of juice, so a 1.5-litre pack holds over 2 kg of fruit.

The pack holds 1.5 litres, which is six 250 ml servings.

How to use

1. Shake the pack before pouring.
2. For a shot, measure out 20-30 ml and drink it chilled, with a little honey if you like.
3. Add a spoonful to tea, ideally once it has cooled slightly.
4. Use it in the kitchen for marinades, sauces and dressings instead of fresh ginger root.

Storage

Store in a dry, shaded place at a temperature of 2 to 21°C, away from direct sunlight.
