Bilovit White Sage Leaves are dried leaves of white sage (Salvia apiana), an aromatic plant native to the south-western regions of North America. For generations they have been valued by the indigenous peoples of these lands, primarily in the ritual of smudging interiors with the smoke of smouldering leaves.

White sage has an intense, resinous-herbal aroma with a cool, camphor note, noticeably more pronounced than culinary sage. The dried leaves are used mainly for aromatic room smudging and for preparing aromatic herbal infusions. Made in Poland.

Directions

Smudging: light the tip of a bundle of dried leaves, blow out the flame, and allow the aromatic smoke to fill the room. Infusion: steep 1-2 teaspoons of leaves in a glass (200 ml) of hot water, covered, for 5-10 minutes, then strain.
